“Before the Summer PD I attended, the hardest thing for me was gathering, tracking, and utilizing data. Since the PD, I have incorporated a few different systems to make my data usage easier. I feel that this was my best year with taking and using data. I would tell a teacher that feels there is no time or they are too burnt out to take a breath, make time for themselves, and keep it simple... I never realized how much more difficult I was making the data process until completing the PD.”

"Before joining the Summer PD Series, the hardest part of managing my IEP caseload was keeping up with everything at once... it constantly felt like I was reacting instead of working from a clear system, and that became overwhelming very quickly.

This school year, I became much more intentional and organized because of what I learned in SPS. I used clearer systems for tracking deadlines and student needs, communicated more proactively with general education teachers, and spent more time planning ahead of time instead of scrambling at the last minute. I also became more confident advocating for students and for myself when my caseload became difficult to manage.

SPS didn’t add more stress—it actually helped reduce it by giving practical tools, strategies, and systems that saved time in the long run.
